Changing reality west Coast flooding event

So in the area near where I live we had coastal and low land flooding. This was due to a perfect storm of events, a king tide combined with heavy rains from an atmospheric river, wind, and a low barometric pressure of 966mb just above hurricane status. Normal sea pressure is 1013.25 while hurricane sea pressure is 950mb.

While watching the news they talked about these conditions but nearly always ended the conversation with this event being attributed to climate change caused sea level rise. I do believe in climate change but this is misleading in every way. This event was a perfect storm of conditions when it is over the sea level will go back to where it was before. If it was sea level rise it wouldn't go back down.

There are people who live in the flood zones that say city officials didn't warn the residents in advance of the flooding. If residents are warned in advance they have the chance to prepare for the flood to lessen the impact such as putting up barriers to keep the water from coming in, or moving items that they don't want damaged. The local news station reached out to the city for answers but is still waiting on a response. But the city does say that they recognize risks to residents especially from climate change and sea level rise.

Could it be that they didn't warn people on purpose in order to make the situation worse so that it could have a greater impact on moving forward with their agendas? It's just a thought, but a serious one. Recently they just approved funding for the EPA Puget Sound geographic program which Congress approved to nearly double their budget. Don't get me wrong I'm not against protecting our water and environment. That being said I don't trust them as far as I can throw them. When you watch them change reality in real time as they report you cant help but be suspicious.

In this video at 6:54 they insinuate that this was caused by sea level rise. I watched other videos that said it was due to sea level rise but didn't save the links.

We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.

Not even the IPCC agrees weather events are attributable to climate change but the fear mongering and buy in of the useful idiots is strong.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

Anyone who has lived a bit realizes climate change is real. But it is both natural and human influenced. Pollution has had immediate effects on certain areas - think of air quality and polluted streams etc. We city folk see it more. But climate change has many sponsors and they make money, and money manages minds and people. Nothing new here. A few links for the open minded.

The US has done a great job in tackling pollution. There are still legitimate concerns, but CO2 isn't one of them.

Why is the left so weak on China, then? The largest polluter in the known universe?

All the cool leftists are doing the pollution thing, they just outsource it to China.

He is, more likely, one who likes his country more than the rest of us, and is thus more disturbed than the rest of us when he sees it debauched. He is not a bad citizen turning to crime; he is a good citizen driven to despair.”

Drought on the West Coast is Climate Change, a big Rain is Climate Change, ect......in short everything fits and nothing falsifiable and that ain't real science it is "Climate Change" confirmation bias.

As for myself we are under flood warning advisory up here but OK so far. The rain has been light today and will continue for many days with a break on New Years day. We need the rain/snow pack and I am pleased to have it.
