The beloved sport of liberals is soccer? Bad news, Zelmo. The world must be mostly libs cause soccer is the most popular sport on earth. Personally, I love watching and playing soccer. I taught PE for 40 yrs and soccer was the perfect game for young kids. Size and speed are not prerequisites for the game. Just heart and want to. Very little standing around like baseball and doesnt require all the skills of and knowledge of American football. That said, I loved playing football and watching it now. Some woman named joy does not speak for all liberals just like no woman named Karen speaks for all conservatives.

They are trying to steer the conversation away from the obvious question: did this happen because of vaccine-induced myocarditis?

Europeans, Argentina. Yup, Socialists pretending to be liberals.

Almost every little boy in the USA plays soccer but then they move on to men's sports as they become men. No more kickball for them.

You’re praying that that’s what happened, but sounds unlikely. Guess we will see. Instead, maybe focus on the positives of this story, the young man is recovering and hopefully will have a great life ahead of him.

I have no issue with the violence in football. It’s always been part of the game. I think it’s probably less of a factor now than in the 1960’s and 80’s. Past players like Butkus, Deacon Jones and Mean Joe Greene were freaking brutal. They didn’t care who they hurt.

Once Butkus was asked if he’d intentionally injure another player. He said “no, not unless it was something important, like a division game.”

I think it’s just intensified now because players are getting bigger, stronger and faster. In the past, yiu didn't have guys who weighted 340lbs, but were as fast as a sprinter and could bench press 550 lbs.

Plus the concussion issue is not being ignored any longer.

Probably not. This condition/situation predates COVID

It is a violent game to begin with. IMO there is no room for head hunting or head butting. If the league does not stop players from leading with their heads the game as we know it will be gone.
IMO, head to head has gotten worse over the years. The better the helmets got at shock surpressors the more they have been used as weapons

That’s the same with their shoulder pads too. They are much better than in the last, they've also become a weapon.
