    Once again it proves true.

That's right folks the Tax cuts that were costing billions in revenue? Well NO they actually raised revenue as companies used that money to expand.

It’s official: Trump’s tax cuts paid for themselves (msn.com)

What the left will never understand is when you raise my tax rates, I shelter in place, when you lower them, I take that money and use it for expansion and growth.

Remember Wal-Mart giving the raise to their employee's when you raise taxes those funds are not there.

Reagan had it right, Government can't solve the problem because it is the problem.

It’s official: Trump’s tax cuts paid for themselves (msn.com)

I get your point but nothing associated with government pays for itself. Hence 31 trillion

That is a spending problem, not a revenue problem. And until we become insolvent it is not going to stop.

It looks like the Business and Banking communities are starting to get worried about the coming recession, and it is no longer predicted to be a mild one.

I hope that it is not as bad as I fear, but it is not looking good

And this is pretty much what has happened throughout history. Cut taxes, revenues increase.

We should also massively cut spending. Eliminate baseline budgeting.

Baseline budgeting is an evil. I've been amazed over my decades of life how many supposedly intelligent and or informed individuals have no clue or even heard of baseline budgeting.

It results not only into rising deficits and debt, but a lot of wasted spending at the end of the fiscal year.

Yep, the old use it or lose it philosophy. When I was a young man I worked at an art and drafting supply in San Diego, H.G. Daniels. And miraculously toward the end of every fiscal year, the Navy would place massive orders for office supplies. Including very expensive Montblanc fountain pens and the like.
