Pick up trucks are the new enemy of the left.

The left continues to prove that they are totalitarians at heart. They are not content with allowing people to have options. They want to tell us how to live.

They want control of everything. From the places we live, to what we eat and the vehicles we drive. They want total control of how we educate our kids and even what we do for recreation.

    • Plus, the tall front of a truck strikes pedestrians in the torso or head — home to vital organs — whereas the lower hoods of cars typically strike pedestrians in the legs.
    • Pickups also tend to be more dangerous in collisions between differently sized vehicles — car drivers are 2.5 times more likely to die when colliding with a pickup as compared to another car, per a 2019 study.

They go after the large SUVs for the same reason.

Wait until they figure out that EVs are also heavy (due to the batteries).

There’s not on aspect of our life that the left does not want to regulate and control.

Obviously pick up trucks are symbols of White Supremacy since they cannot operate on city streets without a Confederate Flag somewhere on the vehicle.

I wonder if this also has to do with the fact that Men like Trucks while women prefer SUV's and Sedans?

The article was not political, nor are the studies whose findings it detailed. I have to wonder why every time someone points out a potentially dangerous situation now - even when the facts are indisputable, and when no attempt by anyone to "control" or ban anything has even been suggested - certain individuals are triggered into a "the Left wants to take away my freedom" rant. Are studies that show the medical dangers of playing professional football politically motivated, as some have suggested? This Straw Man mentality of attributing ulterior motives to anyone who points out anything certain people don't want to hear has reached ridiculous levels. Advocates for vegetarianism who outline the health benefits of the practice are regularly accused of being leftist stooges. I just read a couple of posts in the thread about the Chinese scientists who believe the Earth's core is undergoing some cyclic change that expressed skepticism based solely on an imagined link - made by no one - with human activity. Does absolutely everything in the world have to be linked to or influenced by political considerations? Can't we simply evaluate facts on the basis of whether or not they appear to be true, without subjecting them to a test for, for want of a better term, political correctness?
Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.” - Robert E. Howard

At least they want to leave our reproductive system alone. Ronnie DeSanitize wants his HSAA to get menstrual cycle information from the girls that participate in HS sports in Fla. I guess I have get rid of my 97 F150 since im a leftist. I sure like this truck. Even more than my 97 Mazda
