Yes! The left lane is for passing, people aren't supposed to pass them on the right.

Virginia. They think they are the state police and need to regulate your speed to 5 mph below the speed limit.
I followed 1 for about 1/2 hour one day that was lagging the car in the right hand lane just enough to make sure no one could pass them on the right.

I pulled up beside it and put my head against the drivers window and pretended I was falling asleep as I drifted toward the center line. They backed off quick.

I'm still a Boston driver at heart.

I disagree, I think people who drive like jerks, whether fast ass riders, or slow left lane huggers, do it on purpose because they get some kind of sick pleasure out of it.

That's one of the reasons I visit historic country cemeteries here in Texas, clean and flag Civil War veteran gravestones and document the veterans' service records and postwar lives. I'm generally the only one there on such visits and nobody is trying to turn every conversation into a discussion about politics. Haven't had any opportunities for a roadtrip since mid-November. I turned to some local cemeteries this month but the weather hasn't been cooperating. Got a roadtrip lined up on the 3rd weekend in February. Probably be able to hit 2-3 old country cemeteries pretty thoroughly. Got a list of about 5-6 possibilities so far. Much depends on the weather.

And, people, PLEASE, if you live somewhere that doesn't get much snow, don't try to pretend you know how to drive in it!

    LOL......a pet peeve of mine.

Well.....I've been up for 2 hours and, haven't eaten yet, so, I'm heading in the direction of the kitchen, to check out the food situation.

That's one thing I like doing, too, walking through old cemeteries, there are a couple here I've visited, where entire families are buried, parents and children, all died in the 1800's.

Some people, I suppose, would call it morbid? I find it very interesting.

I sometimes think it's a control thing. They likely have absolutely no control over anything in their lives, and think this is one thing the can control....

More often then not, they are the cause for traffic issues, when people get fed up and pass on the right, cut other people off to do so, and cause general congestion.

I actually saw someone pulled over for it... I know that is what it was, because it was someone I work with, who $#@!ed and moaned all the next day about the ticket they got for 'impeding traffic'. I would happily pay for a supply of tickets if the THP would do this more often....

I'll cruise in the left lane, if there's a lot of big rigs in the right lane and, I don't want to go back and forth and, if there's cars coming up behind me, I move over.
