About the only thing that is good about the cops' recent killing in Memphis--and there is very little that is good about it--is the fact that these officers were all black, just like the victim.

I had no idea they were all black until now. Of course many consider black police as sellouts to "The Man" while others on the left complain the Police are never diverse enough.

If that's true, then it's not a problem with white people thinking they're better than blacks. If it's true, then it's a problem with blacks thinking whites are better.

I always wondered why black folks thought it was okay to call themselves or other blacks the n-word. It's not okay. That word has--for all intents and purposes--been wiped out of white vocabulary because it is so incredibly derogatory to blacks.

It was explained to me that blacks have earned the right to say the word, but come on...every time one of them says it, they reinforce the old bigotry.

It was like the $#@! Walks of a decade or so ago. I get it that the young women wanted to show the world that they were valuable no matter how they dressed, but that's not the message that got out. They just harmed their own images and reputations even more. They degraded themselves.

I think the same thing happens with blacks. I'll walk out of a comedy club if a black person uses the n-word because it's not funny. It's self-debasing. If there is a feeling among blacks that white are better, it's up to them to turn that around. They have to start valuing themselves more.

"Party for Socialism". How is the fact that there were 5 $#@!ty black cops a good argument for socialism? Socialism gives police more power.

If anything, all the story proves is that replacing white officers with black officers doesn't stop police violence.
