    Interesting but totally useless fact.

    You can maintain a steady 65 mph on the highway by setting your car's speed to match the passing of the dotted lines at the same tempo as the lyrics to "Duke of Earl". Try it and see.

    Devotion to the truth is the hallmark of morality; there is no greater, nobler, more heroic form of devotion than the act of a man who assumes the responsibility of thinking.”

    Just took a step back in time;
    Me, a girl, and that song on the car radio....

    We weren't drivin' 65
    but were makin' time.

    Never forgotten the girl or the song.

    If that is the case, Sammy Hagar has no excuse.

    So that's what those lines are for.

    The newer cars have interactive cruise control. I put my car on lets say 70 mph, when I come up on a slower moving car my car will automatically reduce speed to match the speed of the slower moving car. Now, I will admit this will not work in rush hour traffic because the cars never go fast enough to be able to engage cruise control.

    Oops, I made a mistake about the speed of the song. Its not 65 mph but 55. I went for a ride today to verify my post and discovered 55 would match Duke Duke Duke of Earl etc etc. Maybe they are putting the dotted lines closer together today!
