What could supplements mean to total health

First of all I love these post @Perter1469
Reading these and other articles about supplementation. I can't help but notice how many different nutrients are vital often in multiple functions. If and when we totally understand this what might it mean to total health? Especially the areas we are poorest at treating like behavior, mental health, addiction, obsiety, OCD, ADD, anger issues, even criminal behaviors?
It's not unreasonable to think their might be help here, especially given modern diet and lifestyle.

    Thoughts?

Of course it is individualized. Eating good notorious food is the first step. Intelligent supplementation as needed.

I have seen many articles lately about various vitamins or amino acids as being effective for mental health issues. It really takes personal responsibility to learn about this stuff and see what works best for you.

Unfortunately, getting good nutrition from the food we eat is getting more and more difficult, since the ag industry basically rapes the land, add more synthetic chemicals to the fields, then you've got your Monsanto/Bayer systemic chemical additives, all which drain the soil of any nutrients with high-density crops. Produce which is harvested weeks before ripening, transported across country, and sometimes gassed to obtain a 'ripe' color, coated with waxes and other chemicals to 'seal' them so they don't spoil quickly and look good on the shelves....

Sorry, it is frustrating. But yes, people need to research, and consider their individual health and conditions before taking supplements. Some can wash through your system, and some can't.

Neither does the AMA. Getting a medical degree just because the student can go 8 years without a job inevitably only produces incompetents. After that unnatural sacrifice, the graduate becomes a GreedHead who only cares about making as much money as he can, as quickly as he can, any way he can. The reason malpractice insurance is so expensive is that such an "education" is for no-talent grade-grubblng workoholics who become error-prone professionals.

I agree about the lower level of nutrients in food today. That is one reason I eat some things organic and why I supplement the way that I do.

Knowing the difference between fat and water soluble is certain in step 1.

The real reason docs fail at health is because they are trained, not educated. Your reason seems to be kooky. Head trauma?

Many supplements are inexpensive when you consider the cost per serving.
