    Biden Claims he Inherited Inflation

Biden claims inflation 'was already there when I got here,' says he takes no blame

Inflation has surged across American economy during President Biden's term in office

President Biden said Friday he takes no responsibility for the ongoing inflation crisis in the country, as he highlighted a stronger-than-expected January jobs report.

"Do you take any blame for inflation?" one reporter asked.

    "No," Biden responded.

"Remember what the economy was like when I got here? Jobs were hemorrhaging, inflation was rising. We weren't manufacturing a damn thing here. We were in real economic difficulty. That's why I don't," the president said.

The consumer price index for January 2021, when President Biden took office, was 1.4%. The most recent inflation reading, for December 2022, was 6.5% year over year.

Experts at the Heritage Foundation analyzed consumer prices and interest rates and found in their latest report released Thursday that the average American household has lost the equivalent of $7,400 in annual income since Biden's inauguration on Jan. 20, 2021.

The income loss represents an increase of $200 from September, when the think tank's research found a $7,200 decline in annual income for the average American household dating back to the start of Biden's term.

In 2020 I bought my 2008 Toyota, at a much higher price than before as used car prices had skyrocketed!

    Just saying.

Biden lied. Inflation was at 1.4% and remaining steady in the months before he took office.

He also said that the US was hemorrhaging jobs when he took office. That’s another lie as jobs were returning in droves because states were opening up again.

    Biden is a habitual liar.

I am pleased the January job numbers are better than expected, although record inflation under Biden's watch caused by massive spending is no mystery and depresses that value of real wages for all working people.

One can argue if The President is delusional or a liar, but I suggests some of both. When does this White House take responsibility for anything I wonder?

I give mixed reviews on this. About 3-1/2 to 4% of inflation was due to the COVID money dump by Congress.
The rest was all at Biden's hands, with his destruction of the fossil fuel industry momentum. The pipeline. Discouraging drilling. Closing off Federal land leases.
    Let's go Brandon !!!

Part time jobs are inflating the numbers.

Joe Biden only takes credit for things he can portray as a positive. Anything which is a negative is something he inherited from Trump. Either that or he claims the negative is actually a positive.

Any time we have an increase in jobs, it’s a good thing.

When you look at the current situation, we once again see an increase in part time and non career type jobs.

Places like Amazon, Google, Microsoft and many other large employers are shedding a huge number of very high paying jobs.

REI HQ’d in Seattle is laying off thousands of workers.

There are a lot of jobs out there right now, but many are very temporary, part time or in the lower pay scales.

Typical politicians everywhere. It is never their fault. Remember all the Obama cabinet members saying he was causing more problems with his giveaways. But he ignored it and did it anyway? BTW it was done to try and win an election for a party. Not for any other reason. Then tried to rewrite the definition of inflation.

How about this big sin? Remember them lying about the number of jobs created last April to justify an interest rate hike? We added 10K, but they announced a million new jobs. That is not a rounding error. He did this blatantly right in our faces. Now he expects us to believe him?

    Whispering now: Come on man!
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.
