    The Secrets of Skinwalker Ranch

Located in Utah it's claimed to be the epicenter of the strangest phenomena on earth. Columns of light, cattle mutilations, shapeshifting animals, UFOs, energy forces that harm humans especially if you try to dig, electromagnetic activity, strange lights. A team of scientists and researchers, led by Dr Travis Taylor, have joined together to try to expose its secrets.

I've only watched 2 episodes so far but if real it's all very odd.

I watched a few episodes but I stopped when the purposely put the llamas out there to be attacked. That was beyond what I felt was decent.

In that area, I tend to think they could have some toxic gas leaks but they also have natural predators. Maybe some human predators as well.

There are definitely some strange happenings that occur there but they put Llamas out there to be mauled? I had to google ahead and that's appalling. Apparently their cameras stopped working while the animals were being attacked? That's done it for me. I won't be watching it anymore.

I've only watched 2 episodes so far but it seems to be currently up to season 4 and I can't see how they can string it out that long anyway which means I'd have lost interest fairly quickly anyway.

Wouldn't using llamas as bait violate animal abuse laws? If not, it should. That's appalling.

That was my exact response. I was horrified they set the poor animals up like that.

And you know, the show really could have been good. The story has a good underlying concept.

I think so. I don't know what happened after that.

I'm sure they'll find the treasure there any day now.

    Oh wait, that's Oak Island.

Same difference. The only value in those places is how they can used to film a reality show. Skinwalker Ranch is a lot more obvious in its fakery than Oak Island. At least bit of the stuff on Oak Island is true -- people really have dug for treasure there in the past. That's why the Oak Island boys keep digging up stray bits of stuff in their pits, they're drilling into old holes that had been refilled with debris.

    The lights of Marfa, Texas.
They are real. What causes them ?

Some speculation, and even Jim Cantore has seen them !

Mr, Geraldo Rivera Of weather himself.

    Interesting bit. About 2 minutes.

I can't seem to find the original video where a particular scientist speculates that the lights come from a far away highway and car headlights are somehow refracted downward onto to Marfa plains.

Those animals that you say was used as "bait" were Alpaca, not Llamas. If I recall correctly, the Alpacas were placed in an enclosure to observe their reactions to any change in the environment. They were not "bait." You all ought to finish watching the program.

The Skinwalker Ranch is indeed a strange place. I do not believe the research team will learn much. It is rumored Bob Bigelow's NIDS investigation of the ranch, which lasted for years, never solved the puzzle.
