Thats what they were saying earlier on the radio that morning NE favored by 31.....odds came down later in the day. Then they went into some spiel that NE is averaging like 31.4 pts a game.

Moreover I would have taken such a bet if it would have stayed so. As I still don't think NE's Defense is all that great. The thing is with Brady is.....he don't care if he is winning by 30 some pts. He will keep going for more and embarassas the $#@! out of the other Team. Go for the overkill!

Thats about right tho. NE did avg 30 some pts a game. So playing NE one has to keep up with their Offense. Either way I still think the AFC teams this year are the Weaker on Defense.

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP)—Divers have recovered the body of the Green Bay Packers’ offensive coordinator’s son from an icy Wisconsin River, but police said Tuesday they do not suspect foul play.

Michael Philbin, 21, disappeared at about 2 a.m. Sunday after an outing with friends in the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus area, about 50 miles from Green Bay.

Police had been searching the Fox River since Sunday evening, after a security guard reported hearing cries for help from someone on the ice. Divers found his body near the campus on Monday. He is the son of offensive coordinator Joe Philbin.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Philbin family during this difficult time.....snip~

Damn only 21 years old.....that sucks!

Brian Schottenheimer is off the hot seat and out the door.

It’s one of a handful of coaching moves that will shake up Ryan’s staff. Offensive line coach Bill Callahan and wide receivers coach Henry Ellard are both not expected back.....snip~

Shotty is leaving the Jets.....their OC. Former head coach of the Dolphins Sparano will now be the Jets OC. Word is Shotty's Dad Marty may be taking the Tamba Bay Bucs so he may go work with his father.

So Rex was FoS when he said that the OC wasn't going anywhere. Lame.

Schottenheimer, in a statement released by the team, said it was his decision not to come back. In reality, the Jets decided before the final game to go in another direction, according to league sources.

The team's announcement came less than two hours after Schottenheimer had lost out to Mike Mularkey for the Jacksonville Jaguars' head-coaching vacancy.

Schottenheimer interviewed with Jacksonville last Friday. If he had gotten the job, the Jets would have been off the hook for the $3.2 million remaining on the contract extension he was given after last year's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Every week, Tebow picks out someone who is suffering, or who is dying, or who is injured, flies them and their families to the Broncos game, rents them a car, puts them up in a nice hotel, buys them dinner (usually at a Dave and Buster's), gets them and their families pregame passes, visits with them just before kickoff (!), gets them 30-yard line tickets down low, visits with them after the game (sometimes for an hour), has them walk him to his car, and sends them off with a basket of gifts.

Home or road, win or lose, hero or goat.

Remember last week, when the world was pulling its hair out in the hour after Tebow had stunned the Pittsburgh Steelers with an 80-yard OT touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas in the playoffs? And Twitter was exploding with 9,420 tweets about Tebow per second? When an ESPN poll was naming him the most popular athlete in America?

Tebow was spending that hour talking to 16-year-old Bailey Knaub about her 73 surgeries so far and what TV shows she likes.

"Here he'd just played the game of his life," recalls Bailey's mother, Kathy, of Loveland, Colo., "and the first thing he does after his press conference is come find Bailey and ask, 'Did you get anything to eat?' He acted like what he'd just done wasn't anything, like it was all about Bailey."

Wow...this guy is definitely the anti-Tom Brady! What an awesome dude.

So they get a great weekend courtesy of Tebow before they get their subpoena from Brady. It's a yin and a yang thing for me, you know?

That is awesome that Tebow does this. Now how can you not stick up for a guy who thinks of others during his moments in time. This is what makes him a good person. Not football nor his religion.

Now as football goes.....the little $#@! is gonna get his clocked clean. Thats right.....just keeping running with that ball. Keep diving head first. Throw the bomb and pray for that miracle. We will see how the Patriots play it. Will they cover man to man or just go with the cover two and say thank you very much everytime the rookie throws the bomb. Give me a break.....because he won. They are gonna act like, oh he is a good QB and Defenses don't know what to do with his option running. They know what to do. It's called clean his clock and introduce him to the bench for the rest of the game. To sit on the sidelines. Knowing there is nothing he can do. Knowing and accepting that fact that he is just an average QB and will be lucky if he can hold onto his job.
