    Shay's Rebellion...America's first civil war in 1786

I never heard about it. I was watching 10 Days That Unexpectedly Changed America DVD I got from the library and that was how I found out about Shay's Rebellion. Crazy stuff happened back then.

It might be said they lost the battle but won the war in that taxes were reduced and more time given to pay off debt.

But it also said the federal government would intervene.

Even if they lost it tells us the major political issues of the day were Taxpayer Citizens upset over Federal misconduct and oppressive taxation.

Today we have the opposite where far too many poor or wealthy is out for their Federal Handout!
