Bing Bing front page or whatever it is

So.... my laptop and desktop have started defaulting to a Bing page on Edge when I am away for awhile. I don't know how to stop it. I hate MS when it does this crap. Anybody know how to scrub this crap off of the computer or disable it?

    1. Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar.
    2. Click on "Taskbar settings" from the context menu that appears.
    3. In the Taskbar settings window, scroll down to the section labeled "Combine taskbar buttons" and select "Never".
    4. Next, scroll down to the "Notification area" section and click on "Turn system icons on or off".
    5. Here, you can turn on the system icons that you want to appear on the taskbar, such as the clock and volume control.

I believe it is an Edge Add-on. To disable or remove Add-ons:

Turn off an extension in Microsoft Edge

In Microsoft Edge, select Extensions located to the right of your browser address bar, then select Manage extensions.

Select the toggle next to the extension you want to turn off.

Remove an extension from Microsoft Edge

To remove any extension, choose one of the following methods:

In Microsoft Edge, select and hold (or, right-click) the icon of the extension you want to remove (to the right of your browser address bar). Select Remove from Microsoft Edge > Remove.

To the right of your browser address bar, select Extensions and select More actions next to the extension you want to remove. Then select Remove from Microsoft Edge > Remove.
In quoting my post, you affirm and agree that you have not been goaded, provoked, emotionally manipulated or otherwise coerced into responding.

They also keep prompting me to upload Windows 11 when I don't want it.
