    Health episode last night

Well I had another one of those dang heart episodes again last night, that sucked. Normally I would have went to the ER but it has been snowing about a foot per day and my driveway is snowed in. My heart was going up from 136 to 150 for about five hours. I honestly thought that was it. I was at peace about it though, I was just practicing sending out the love in my heart to all beings in the world. I was trying to just be present and calm. I didn't want to wake up my loved one but at some point I decided to wake him up, he helped me to take a pill. Eventually my heart rate got below 100. It was a tough night for sure.

It is much better today though, it's still a little iffy but not like last night. Not sure what happened to me to make me get that episode. They are not cool at all.

Ask them to do an echocardiogram on your heart. It's like an ultrasound. One of your valves may be backing up. Meds can fix this if it is.

Thank you. I did have one done my heart is really good, which is good news. I have POTS it is a nervous system disorder that affects the heart. I'm doing pretty good dealing with it, but just had a tough time of it last night.

When I read this it brought back bad memories. Around 42 years of age, (and I had passed out before, mostly every two years) I couldn't walk from the living room to the kitchen without feeling I had ran 6 miles. Every stupid Dr. I went to thought it was either an ear infection, anxiety which I am not emotional, or something else. They had me wearing a box to check my heart which it didn't act up when I was wearing it, EKGs, to it must be stress. They did this when it was really acting up and found the valve wasn't working at times thanks to a neurologist demanding it wasn't in my head.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that Roadmaster it must have been so scary. I'm so glad they were finally able to find the cause. <333

Something like this happens to me occasionally. I'll wake up and either my heart is racing or it's pounding in my ears and I'm sure I'm about to have a heart attack. And every time it happens I immediately begin thinking, "If I'm alive in the morning, I'm going to get my affairs in order, take better care of myself", etc., and the next day I'm right back to putting things off and not really changing anything about the way I live.

Minutes or hours of panic, followed by days, months or even years of apathy and procrastination. Our society in microcosm...?

Anyway, I hope you're doing okay now. Hang in there.

Best to get checked but not an uncommon problem, more for women than men. 136 is aweful high to begin with.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

    AFIB?

I've had the occasional racing heart, but it seems to pass in a few minutes. In general, my heart rate runs anywhere from 80 to 100, I haven't had one of those palpitations in a long while. I have one of those little finger thingy that does your oxygen and heart rate from back when I had COVID.
