I went out of my way not to pay attention to the story, I had to switch the channel from the news a lot these past few weeks. I don't understand what makes this story newsworthy either. It must be awful to know you are spending the rest of your life in prison though.

Newsworthy is Alex Murdaugh is of a once prominent American family of lawyers in SC. Plus he murdered his wife and his one of his sons. I suspect the national coverage was more in line with keeping Biden and his boys laptop off the front page.

I saw a program about it once and found it interesting, the small town control this family had was scary in and of itself. I mean he essentially sued himself as part of one of his schemes and they let him!

And right now at least 2 network news magazine shows are doing their version of the story. How many evil maniacal people need this much attention?

My only concern was for the family who lost their beautiful young daughter to the negligence by one of the sons for which the Dad made their family's name go down in American history.

I live in SC and I could care less. No one, that I know down here is talking about it.
They even brought in OJ to make a comment on it.

This was certainly overplayed in the media.
