I would have to right click the picture to "open image in a new tab".
The new tab would give me the full address of

The problem of posting a picture is not a computer problem. In order to post a picture, it must exist out on the Interweb and you need a URL to point to it. You can't point to pictures on your computer. You have to upload them first to the Interweb.

That depends, on a Mac I can direct link from HD to the forum.

This is not true, you can upload pictures from your computer directly to this site. But, they must often be resized, or the software will reject them.
