Science is a belief system is the point. This can hardly be denies if we look at metascience or philosophy of science, like empiricism, materialism, and so on. But thus TED talk looks at scientific dogma at another level and criticizes these 10:

I can see why they banned it. People fall apart when their dogma is challenged.

A lot of dogmatic public belief is based on outdated science.

And you would be shocked to know how many scientists are dedicated to the defense of old doctrines rather than pursuit of new discoveries that might challenge them.
