Our Criminal Justice system was not designed to keep throwing $#@! against the wall hoping some of it eventually sticks. That is the very definition of political persecution.

No matter what you think of Trump as a person or as President all Americans should be concerned with this activity.

I agree with this. It's all political and frankly, it's disgusting.

Trump certainly made a smart move by getting one step ahead of any potential arrest Circus and put the New York DA's Office on the defensive.

I have to agree. It was a very good move on Trump's part.

Bragg may arrest and indict Trump, but now, Bragg will look like the bad guy.

Alvin The Republican Slayer Bragg has claimed Donald Trump created a false expectation of this arrest and lead Republican lawmakers to interferer in the proceedings. The question now is will bragg file additional charges against Trump and/or other members of Congress.

Got to admit, that's clever. Get the focus off himself and his blatantly partisan activities, and turn it onto the Republicans, which the media will happily join in on.

In the past 7 years, I've seen attempt after attempt to take Trump down fail.

It's not because Trump can't be taken down. It's because they're trying to take him down on the wrong things.

After the nutjobs Trump appointed to SCOTUS, I really hate defending him, but let's be honest, it wasn't Trump who threw Bragg into a quagmire. It was Bragg. Now Bragg is upset that Congress is asking to see his documentation--Bragg claims it violates NY's sovereignty.

But, it isn't because Trump is a former US President and what Bragg is attempting to do is unprecedented.

Correct me if I am wrong but you probably feel this way after a textual court overturned a liberal activist court that unconstitutionally created legislation the Congress only has the legal ability to do.

Bragg might have a better argument if he wasn't trying to use a federal statute to bump his state charge up to a felony and get 3 extra years for the statute of limitations- something he likely doesn't have the jurisdiction to do.
