And there is no segregation going on here. The events described in the Fox News article are not graduation ceremonies. They are parties that focus on different ethnic and cultural groups and are open to all students. Do you consider a celebration of Irish heritage that is open to everyone (I.e., a St. Patrick’s Day parade) to be segregated?

But the titles may be misleading here.

It is a Michigan State University means a state school in Michigan not "Michigan State".

It is Grand Valley State having 5 separate graduations. But the students can take part in one or both of the ceremonies.
