About 750 natives were planted and mulched with some of the biomass I ground up for that purpose. About 1/3 of it I'll make into biochar, 1/4 will be firewood, and the rest will be mulch to be used at our farm, which border the creek. The migratory birds are just beginning to return, and the cottonwood trees and willows are leafing out. Saw a red-tailed hawk, a turkey vulture, and a black hawk - the hawks use the big cottonwoods for nesting.
