I was released, once again, from the hospital the day before yesterday. Since February I have been feeling, not myself. Just different, something is wrong but I powered through it.
Sunday night I went into the ride of rides and I was vomiting the whole way. Vestibular Neuritas, or Neuronitas, either way they both suck. The last time I had it the doc said it wouldn't come back. Only 5% of people does it reoccur. Well, guess what? I won the frickin lottery. It's back. And I'm still dizzy but at least I can semi walk and add 2+2 and have it come out 5.
I have an appointment with my ENT but our backup plan is, if the quack can't fix my inner ears, I'm heading to San Fransicko University to see if those mental giants can kick some vestibular ass if not I have a PLAN C!! I'll be off to Stanford.
This sucks. I can't even have a beer. I'm on Prednisone for the next few days. This is only day three of my treatment and I can walk which I am very happy about. Oh, I'm not complaining, just happy to have come this far.

Did a quick google, that sounds like it just plain sucks.

I dealt with a couple of rounds of vertigo, have had tinnitus for years but getting worse, hearing loss, loss of balance and leg/foot transient neuropathy. All signs of acoustic neuroma, but the MRI said nope.

I hope they find answers for you, and the recovery is quick.

So it is caused by a viral infection? Did you get your Covid vaccinations? If so could this be a side effect of the vaccine?
