I went on a road trip and crossed a few mountain ranges from the Olympics to the Cascades and then the Blue mountains. I wanted to share a few pics with you guys of my little adventure. Well it's more than a few but what the heck. : ) I will post it in a few posts. It was hard to choose because I took 1K photos. But here goes.
This is a lake right outside of Mossyrock in Washington state.

This is Mount St Helens you can kind of see where she blew.

This is the Palisades off of White Pass it is a wall of columnar basalt they aren't really sure how it formed it is a single layer of lava in some places near 100ft high. They think it either hit a cliff or glacier and cooled like that. It is really cool in person there is a lookout with a canyon and a river running through. You can really feel the depth and the birds are soaring around by those cliffs it's pretty awesome.
