Shemy Schembechler (Bo's son of course) was recently hired as an assistant recruiting director for the Michigan Wolverines but not for long a racist tweets came back to bite him.
Someone checked his Twitter account and found that "liked Tweets mocked Joe Biden voters (so?) , trashed BLM rioters (I'm cool with that too) and talked about Jim Crow and Slavery in disgusting ways essentially saying that slavery was good for black people. OK, I'm no longer at all cool with this.
Talk about a direct effect on your job, which is to gain the trust and commitment of young men, many of whom are black. So I'm good with the firing. It does puzzle me that the article I read seems to put mocking biden supporters on par with actual racism.
So I'm good with Harbaugh's desicion but I do wonder this.
If the situation was totally reversed and a black coach mocked Trump voters and refered to whites as "Crazy ass crackers that need to be enslaved"
Well would we even be hearing about it? My guess is no. But maybe more Twitter Accounts should be reviewed too.
I know seeing any bad times befall Michigan will break your heart @DGUtley but try to power through.
