The S-500 has been in service for a couple of years but, AFAIK, has not been combat tested.

Based on the success rates of their 'invincible' hypersonic missiles, and 'unbeatable' army, 'unstoppable' T-14 ARMATA and 'indestructible' robot tanks and the fact that they have not been used leads me to believe that they are equally craptastic in performance.
Russian weapons for export are not the same as what they use.

Perhaps, but the T-14 ARMATA is completely craptastic:

"Russian troops receiving T-14 Armata main battle tanks are hesitant to accept the deliveries because of their "poor condition," according to a new intelligence assessment."

Russia funds its major weapons systems development with foreign sales. (Seems ass-backwards to me.) They didn't get much interest in the T-14, so the program is underfunded.

I've heard that they have made rear window defrosters standard equipment on all Soviet trucks.

It allows soldiers to keep their hands warm when the push them.

I forgot to add, there is scant evidence that the ARMATA even exists.

The T-95 turned out to be a scam.

Leaving out the T-14, every other Soviet tank has an engine going back to the 1930’s.

The claimed ARMATA engine is a reverse engineered WWII PANZER engine that was plagued with reliability issues.

What move has the West made that Putin has not proclaimed "You better not or else!"?

Putin's threats have all the power of Obama's line in the sand.
    Let's go Brandon !!!

A presidential handshake agreement is not binding.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.
