I'm not a fan of expensive covfefe anyway. Give me a good strong cup of joe any day over Starbucks stuff. Black and hot.
I make may own coffee. Get the Natures Promise (that Giant uses as their label) Organic Breakfast blend in the huge size. About $12.00 and lasts me about two weeks at about 10 coffee maker cups per day. Two large (not "grande") coffee flavored drinks at Starbucks would cost about the same.

I haven't been to a Starbucks in at least 15 years. I have no need to be condescended to for only ordering a simple cup of coffee. I don't have the energy to order the trendy stuff. I can't pronounce half of it. I prefer cold brew and I make my own and it's pretty bloody good.

Many of those coffee flavored sugar drinks have over 1/3 of a woman's recommended daily calories.

That explains so much about liberal men.

They are counter clerks. That is all they are.
They don't pour concrete, frame houses, perform site prep, drive heavy equipment, or work in an extremely dangerous job.
They aren't welders, pipe layers, lumberjacks, traffic cone manufacturers, or road safety personal.
They just make coffee (usually for Dog and Karen)
They are counter clerks and nothing more and usually work no more than 4-6 hours a day.

True story. I was part of a "union" when I worked for a public utility. The current contract was to ready expire and negotiations broke down. The company wasn't budging on their 3% wage increases. So, the decree came from the the braintrust of our union to walk out. Long story short, we went back to work for $.50 less on the hour than was offered, missed out on a month's wages and lost a holiday. Too many crybabies couldn't back up their mouth.

It often happens that the loudest most contentious voices in the union hall are the ones least prepared to weather a work stoppage and loss of income. One of many reasons I came to loathe labor unions.

PS. Trade unions are a whole different animal. I have no problem with them. They are skilled/educated labor and are more less employed by their unions. They have their own benefits and retirement programs.

No Slideman. The unions were taking advantage of the industrialization of the US economy that benefited after WWII.
The unions then helped to drive that US manufacturing out of the country while encouraging imports. I have been in heavy industry since the late 70s and I hate to admit that the biggest problem with the Asian import invasion was that they pointed out the poor quality our unions produced. Your American made new car spent more time at the dealership after you bought it than before you bought it.

Don't forget Asian imports built fuel injection into their engines way before American manufacturers did.

Meanwhile the UAW workers had so little regard for what they were doing that people found bottles and trash in tires and fenders of the cars.
