"“Utah Parents United left off one of the most sex-ridden books around: The Bible,” the parent’s complaint, dated Dec. 11, said. It later went on to add, “You’ll no doubt find that the Bible (under state law) has ‘no serious values for minors’ because it’s pornographic by our new definition.”

The review committee determined the Bible didn’t qualify under Utah’s definition of what’s pornographic or indecent, which is why it remains in high schools, Williams said. The committee can make its own decisions under the new 2022 state law and has applied different standards based on students’ ages in response to multiple challenges, he said."
Sorry, the thread says it is banned in Utah.

    It is not.

Well to be fair the Old Testament is full of violence and even a vengeful God. It's confusing to kids. God is love. Except..... No Jesus was love but violence was perpetrated against him and others. So, this community may have a point.
I'll reiterate what I have often said. Parents/schools have a right and responsibility to control what's in their children's school library. That is not a book ban. The parents and churches are free to discuss the Bible with these kids, hopefully at an age appropriate level

It's my hope that the last two posters here are just pretending to be unintelligent.

Ooops, someone else jumped in while I was making this post. So I'm changing mine to be the three before the last one.

You seem a bit anxious and insecure, are you getting outside of your comfort zone?
