Humans just become more efficient and smarter. The industrial revolution is our friend.
As the population grows we are producing much higher quality products that last longer with less materials.
Humanity is undergoing continuous improvement and that includes environmentally.
Perhaps because of where you grew up, you don't remember what our fivers used to look like. A mouthful of the Charles River growing up made you wonder if you were going to show up in the ER. I remember seeing another river on a drive with my uncle that looked and smelled like turned milk. Apparently due to a paper mill.
But some people run to China for the cheap price where open pollution is no problem. Do you know anyone that does that?
