I am OUTRAGED at those drivers who dawdle at the red light after it turns green. Taking off the instant a light changes to green is not good policy because of the other thing I am OUTRAGED about, drivers running the red light. However, when 3 or 4 cars in the other lane have gone ahead somebody is not paying attention.

Life's too short to spend time being outraged. Anger shortens your life.

There's something about living in nature that's soothing. Most of the time. I took my laptop out back to work a couple of days ago and I couldn't concentrate because all the songbirds were singing so loudly! I had to laugh because we've gone to great lengths to attract the birds and now that we've been successful, I found them annoying.

But, I love where I live. I love going out to walk the dogs when it's not quite light and then watching the sunrise. We've had some beautiful ones lately. Sometimes, I'll spot some deer, other times I'll see a couple of wild turkeys that wander around here. Raccoons, rabbits, quail, pheasant, and an occasional skunk. The air is clearer and the stars are brighter.

That's probably me in front of you. Did you honk?

Nothing really outrages me, but I do have some pet peeves.

I can't stand tags on my clothing. Fortunately, most clothing manufacturers have switched to printed-on tags. The first thing I'll do after buying something new is cut all tags out. Same with socks--I won't wear socks with toe seams. They bug me, so I only order a specific type of Under Armor socks that don't have seams. Back when it was harder to find seamless socks, I'd just turn them inside out and wear them that way.

I wear western style boots so I don't have to worry about my socks matching.

Haha.....that's my husband, too, he wears cowboy boots, he took them off one time and I noticed one sock was blue and, one was black, I pointed it out and he said, no one can see my socks.
