I am not a typical atheist, inasmuch as while I don't believe in God or gods, I believe that humans and in fact all life is more than the material and that all life is linked, so maybe you don't want my opinion.

Oh, but I do! What exists beyond the material? The guy who thanked your post has some weird interconnectedness thing going on. He doesn't like to talk about it because he will be mocked mercilessly and he deserves to be.


Why would I not want to hear about this? Granted, I suspect it's not structured and probably serves more as a surrogate religion than anything else but do tell.

The general trend is that the more educated a person is, the more likely he is not a member of any practicing religion.
Religion tends to be a simple explanation for events and situations that are difficult to explain.

Europeans are largely agnostics and atheists, but they do value their religious buildings as artistic masterpieces.
