You're right! They should just fall in line right? Show them how it's done, Dick.Show them how to properly lick boots.

If the Democrats had the House, they'd be well into their fifth impeachment of Trump by now.
Unlikely, as no one can be impeached unless they are actually in office.

The Republican Party is clearly at war with itself. The clowns are the members of the "Freedon Caucus", who think they were elected to simultaneously stupid, ignorant and stubborn.

Can President Trump be impeached after he leaves office?

The expected impeachment proceedings on Wednesday against President Donald J. Trump will surface one of the Constitution’s most arcane questions: Can a federal official be removed from office if he’s already left the building?
To date, that question has not been answered fully, but it was presented to the Founders in early 1799, about 11 years after the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.
When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.“ - Benjamin Franklin.

Trump was still president when he was impeached

Did you even read the article I posted? Back prior to his second impeachment there was indeed talk of impeaching him again after he left office. They even cited a precedent to allow it.

Why bother? The statement was made that if the Democrats still had a majority in the House, they would "be impeaching Trump the fifth time".

That was what I was referring to.

No one knows what you were referring to. You generally don’t even know what you’re referring to.

Impeachment is just a vote of no confidence. It means nothing other than removal of the office holder. They can refer it to the DOJ but they don't need to impeach someone to do that.

So any impeachment after someone leaves office is purely political.
    Let's go Brandon !!!

Trump was impeached twice. He was still president both times.

Why are you sidestepping the issue? I know why.
