They are not mutually exclusive and I doubt you will find many people that disagree with you about child pageants being abusive, but they are not, one a person in a costume doing sexually oriented moves directed at a child.
And yes I know what twerking is. Regardless of what you want to pretend it is, I saw it in my youth when I had fistfuls of money and the twerker was wearing merely a garter belt.
