Concerns about Wartime Corruption in Ukraine

The US and other nations are now calling for less aid, or at the very least much more caution, to Ukraine- do to wartime corruption. Which is common in any war.

Concerns about Wartime Corruption in Ukraine

There are growing calls in the United States and elsewhere to limit military aid to Ukraine because of the wartime graft problem.

The United States has channeled nearly $77 billion in assistance to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion a year and a half ago, split roughly equally between military aid, direct financial support, and humanitarian aid and other programs. Aid from within Europe has been nearly as great, for a total of more than $120 billion. Richard L. Cassin notes that Ukraine was already ranked the most corrupt country in Europe, and President Zelenskyy suspended anticorruption protocols to deal with the country’s defense, making concerns about corruption all the more appropriate. Zelenskyy—elected on an anti-corruption platform—has taken measures to counter the problem, such as firing defense minister Oleksii Reznikov and military recruitment officers suspected of bribery, but public perception of corruption remains nearly universal within Ukraine.

Considering that out of all the mentioned billions, only roughly $20B actually ended in Ukraine.... Anyone here actually read, how those billions were appropriated? 32% was immediately staying in the US, in MIC hands. To start with.
But hey, there are much worse news.

    ⚡️⚡️⚡️#Inside
Our source in the OP (Office of President) said that the Office of the President was unable to get the West to freeze/write off debts and now we will be forced to allocate 424 billion hryvnia for servicing it in 2024. This entire amount is only for servicing debts, while at the end of 2024, the state debt, according to the Ministry of Finance, will amount to 110% of GDP, which will not allow the Ukrainian economy to develop in the next ten years.

As of today, 1 $ US = 37 hryvnia. Do your math.

I bet this is tied to the purging of the Ukraine Defense Ministry.
