My wife and I thought this was a lab leak before most in this country knew it existed. Intentionally? Not out of the realm of possibility, but not going to say yes. For me, if the new mutation that is being talked about is more deadly than previous mutations, I may start to think it is intentional, and not naturally mutating. As the history of viruses show they weaken while they mutate. So this would tell me it is being manipulated, not mutating.

COVID as a conspiracy theory does not have to be as evil as sound make it sound.

Even if you do not take it to a purposeful event, you still have those that toke advantage of the situation to perpetrate fraud against the public and government.

We have 200 billion in COVID funding theft estimated by the government.
We have renters that refused to pay their rent but received funding from the government to pay that rent.
Government refused landlords attempts to evict them.

So even if you do not believe that COVID was a made up conspiracy then you cannot deny that thieves and unethical people took great advantage of the irresponsible way the government administered the programs.
