This apparently happened a couple weeks ago, but I just learned of it by finally checking my emails and seeing a story on it in a Digg email I hadn't yet read.
I shared an amusingly pathetic video with you wherein an anti-feminist influencer named Matt Walsh pretends he's unable to grasp normal dating etiquette. Toward the end of that video, he becomes particularly obsessive over a 35-year-old woman who voices contentedness with being single and childless. She seemed to be happy with her life and Mr. Walsh could not accept this. He explains how deep down she needs a man to be happy and satisfied with her life like his permanently impregnated wife definitely is with hers. (His wife has apparently borne him six kids and endured seven miscarriages in the span of less than a decade.) Whelp, he got at it again a couple weeks ago, apparently, and in an even more pitiful fashion that has me wanting to ask you something, tPF.
A couple weeks back, a random 29-year-old TikTok user named Julia Mazur posted a lighthearted video laying out her plans for the day ahead, which seemed very relaxing. She had posted it with the intent to communicate that there are advantages to being single and childless and that one needn't rush into marriage and having kids just because there's a lot of social pressure to by her age.
Matt Walsh re-posted the video to "X" complaining that "Her life doesn’t revolve around her family and kids so instead it revolves around TV shows and pop stars. Worst of all she’s too stupid to realize how depressing this is." His legions of followers took that as their cue to attack and within the day Mazur began receiving messages calling her a "$#@!" and telling her to get raped and kill herself,
which she rebuffed in a follow-up video the next day that satisfyingly got nine times as many up-votes as Walsh's commentary. Mazur, unlike the WGTOW lady Mr. Walsh attacked in his "date" video from a month ago, is not a female separatist. Mazur is simply a random 29-year-old woman who isn't married but hopes to get married someday and in the meanwhile found a way to enjoy her Saturday despite not having a man. Even that is unacceptable, evidently. You're not allowed to be happy without a man, even temporarily! And if by some chance you are having a good day, Matt Walsh's minions will do everything in their power to ruin it for you.
This is where you come in. Most of you being anti-feminists as well, I have to ask you: why? Why is this so reliably the mindset? Why are so many men so threatened by the idea of a woman not having a man? Like threatened enough to make a career out of destroying anyone who doesn't? Threatened enough that they believe single women are unworthy to live? I don't understand it. Maybe you can help me. Why this level of visceral hatred for women who've done exactly nothing to you ever? Why are anti-feminists like this?
