I had a weird dream something about some experiment and some virus being released in the UK. Where they even had to close off a freeway to quarantine someone. So naturally I scrolled the news just to make sure it wasn't real. I didn't find anything at all, but there was one silly story that caught my eye, it has nothing to do with the subject of my dream. It was this story about how a school had to send out a letter to parents telling them that they weren't providing litter trays for children who identified as furries. The fact that a letter of that nature had to be sent out says a lot about the times we live in. It is hard to believe actually. And here I thought my dream was weird. Lol.
"A school has been forced to deny online rumours that it was providing litter trays for pupils who identify as cats.
West Monmouth School in Pontypool, Torfaen, wrote to parents this week saying there would be no special treatment for "pupils who might identify as an animal of any kind".
The rumour followed a hoax in the United States about students who "identify as cats" or "furries".
Torfaen council confirmed the school's letter was genuine". https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-wales-67377626
