Israel spends more per capita on her military than the US. They also sell a lot of weapons. I have a feeling they'll be OK. In any case, I agree that it's not our problem.

Right, but their military spending is heavily subsidized by the US. And everyone knows that the US will step in if Israel's existence is ever threatened militarily. If Israel loses that, they're in big trouble.

US aid is substantial but I think the real value of US support lies on the international or diplomatic front. For example, consider the recent veto.

I agree that a serious rupture in US-Israel relations would be a serious problem for the latter. I'm just not sure that's going to happen.

I was laughing at your joke. That's what the bold font was meant to make clear. It seemed clear to Mister V. Have a great night.

I'll confess I missed the bolding. Now, any chance of your answering the question posed?

Depending on exactly how one defines "ally" in this context, the U.S. has a minimum of somewhere around thirty allies in the world. Why is Israel the only nation that more than 80% of U.S. citizens cannot legally refuse to do business with, without losing their eligibility to enter into a contractual agreement with the State?

Belgium, Turkey, Latvia, Italy, Iceland, Canada, etc., etc. are also our allies...yet if my business or organization has a problem with the laws or policies of any of those countries, nobody cares. The State doesn't care. Why do politicians see is as necessary to make Israel a special case and protect it from the slightest "harm" by a U.S. company?

No. I have no interest. Next time, I will have to remember not to give you credit for anything or laugh at anything you post. You don't seem to take it well.
