    An excellent "planet conscious" holiday dessert is a butter pie with a generous component of roasted (or fried) kockroaches in the mix - you really can't tell it from a butter pecan pie, and it's carbon negative!

    Mincemeat pie with raisins, green tomatoes, and ground baby meat is delicious, too...

    Strawberry shortcake would qualify.


    Apple or rhubarb pie. All plant based. Plus you can bake them in a solar powered electric oven.
