I don't think it's too far fetched to think that we can unlock the secrets to aging. There are many societies and scientists working on it. There are also tales of what people call Gods who had hundreds of thousands of years life spans. Who knows.

I was listening to Coast again last night and they had a guest Ben Fuchs that was discussing natural remedies. I know a few of us here are into natural healing. But the part of the conversation that I thought was interesting was when a caller asked him what happens to our body when we eat sugar. He said something like when the body is given a hit of sugar it has to work to get the sugar out of the blood and store it. It dis-regulates your insulin and causes insulin resistance. It creates a cycle of low and high blood sugar. I liked the way he said it. He said he believes that is the reason people develop larger waist sizes as they age because of insulin resistance, not just a natural product of aging.

I listened to part of a really great Coast show. It was old school awesome like the Coast of memories. It was the show from the 9th with the topic, "the unified field theory". Hosted by Richard Syrett. So the guest Mark basically said he was communicating with Einstein, I mean that is classic stuff and really entertaining. But for the most part the science he talked about was pretty great. I wanted to listen to the entire show but I was dozing in and out, and only listened for a bit, but it was great. I just might sign up for an account so that I can go back and listen to that.

I also missed last nights show which was supposed to be pretty good. Which was Randall Carlson discussing the concept of the Great Year, and its correlation with past climate data and cataclysmic events. I have watched him many times he is great.

From time to time I go back to listening, I think it's lots of fun. George has been more fun lately. For a while there it seemed like he was getting sick of the kooks. I feel like lately he has relaxed a little bit and is having more fun with it. I enjoy that. I like it when the host encourages people to let loose their inner kook. Lol. It's a lot more entertaining that way. Kinda sucks when they take it too serious.

Of course we know when people are talking bull$#@!, lol. But that don't mean it's not fun to listen to.

I was listening on my alarm clock a few nights ago and there was the strangest signal that was bleeding over the am band. Some kind of interference. I was pretty curious as to what could be causing it. I thought about recording it. I turned it on tonight to see if the signal was there but it wasn't. I don't know, but it was sure fun to speculate and kinda went with the theme of coast. : )

I've been listening to some of the older coast shows with Art. It's crazy that back then guests were receiving newsletters, and sending in faxes to ask questions. Times sure have changed in such a short time. From what I can see the older shows were way more awesome, and Art is unrivaled.
