We were just speaking of his philosophy and then you are talking about attributions. His philosophy was very similar to that of Siddhartha if you've read both.

What we call Christmas was originally part of the feast of the Epiphany (Jan 6). A separate feast celebrating the birth of Jesus didn't appear until significantly later. So while pagan festivals may have been "co-opted", so to speak, I'm not sure what relevance Christmas has since Christianity was already established by then.

Have you read the Gospels? Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John? Not Paul's works, but the Gospels?

I've read them in Greek and I really don't get what you're talking about. Hell, for example, was not a concept so there was no "eternal lake of fire".

It depends on how you choose to date them: by language style, Valentinian or Plutarchian, by carbon dating (soot), pollen dating, or historical indicators (destruction of temple), or attributions from ancillary documentation (Babylonian-New Jerusalem Talmud) etc.

That, however, is an open debate, IMO, and I'd rather stick to the Jesus versus Horus and not get sidetracked because, I'm easily sidetracked with anything of interest in the ancient world.
