Wrong, wrong and wrong. Somaliland is an independent state run by a tribal system which just created a constitution/charter and seeks UN recognition. Somaliland was relatively peaceful.Somalia, on the other hand, has had a provisional government for awhile but has infighting between religious nutjobs and the old marxist, but it has a government. You're welcome.

Another excellent example of anarchy is the border area of Mexico.
The writ and will of the central government hardly extends there any longer. It is almost under the complete control of drug lords and their armies of heavily armed retainers who hold the region in a reign of terror, with the severed heads of the disobedient scattered around by the bushel 'pour encourager les autres'.
'Local control' at its libertarian best!
THIS is the TRUE FACE of anarchy.
Civil war is not anarchism--actually, whatever. You're soooo right @Spectre. I'll just leave you to the stupid.
Have fun yall.

There's a civil war going on in Mexico?
