And you know that to be a pile of $#@!, MMC. To clarify, I don't care who someone dumps on, in the appropriate venue.

Its a crock. And my statement wasnt much of a Political Statement just some truth.

This just came out recently. The Indepth reporting by Julie Kelly made the Lame Stream Media look like the Democrats tools that they are.....snip~

The Book did just come out recently. And Kelly scooped the entire Lame Stream Media. Wherein she did show all the Bias of the Lame Stream Media with what they did report.

Dogs will mark their territory. The small yappy ones appear to be the most obsessed with doing so. And they could care less if they damage or even ruin something in the process.

My reading really fell off in 2020 and 2021. I only read 2 books in 2021. One of my goals for 2022 is to get back to my average of 12-15 books a year, if not more. I am 2/3 into "A Civil War Journey: The Letters of John W. Brendel". He was a Corporal in the 138th Pennsylvania Infantry. The author, Justin T. Mayhue, is a Park Ranger and Battlefield Guide at Antietam NMP.

Mariano Azuela (Author), Sergio Waisman (Editor, Translator), The Underdogs: A Novel of the Mexican Revolution. Blurbed as "the first great novel about the first great revolution of the twentieth century."

Maybe it's the translation but it reads like someone describing an old play. Once you get used to it, it's a good read. As a novel it tells the story of Demetrio Macia, forced to join the revolution, becoming a general in Villa's army, only to become disillusioned with the cause.

The Revolution is the same told in Carlos Fuentes (Author), Margaret Sayers Peden (Translator), The Old Gringo. The rebels are mostly bandits and outlaws who fight the federales who protect the rich and all the while it's the poor who suffer as various armies take and rampage and loot their towns. I don't think Mexico has changed much from that scenario.

Oh, also read Jack Schaefer's Shane, a delightful Western much like the movie.

Next in line Joe R. Lansdale's Paradise Sky, recommended by @Standing Wolf[/i]. The first paragraph is quite humorous.
The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so. -- Ronald Reagan
