And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. I wish you guys would read learn and pay attention instead of the constant childish and stupid ad hominems. You do realize your inane replies tell us who you are and do not address the topic. Maybe not?

While this is a bit off topic, we do try to support local bookstores. Our grandchildren cost us a fortune some visits. lol But I like Amazon it is easy finding books that are often not big sellers.

Religion in America today is not Christlike, it seems too concerned with politics and control of the other. Think only of how they cry over the unborn but care nada for the born. Interesting read below.

'Testimony: Inside the evangelical movement that failed a generation'

'Jon Ward’s life is divided in half: two decades inside the evangelical Christian bubble and two decades outside of it.

“A work of raw honesty and deep insight.” Kristin Kobes Du Mez, New York Times best-selling author of Jesus and John Wayne

    https://www.jonwardwrites.org/book/testimony

"Jon Ward’s honest, meditative, and beautifully written memoir shines a bright light on the often-obscured links between religion and politics in America." Yuval Levin

This is actually really cool. it is nice that she is trying to support small business. and it will take longer for her books to reach all of the readers but I like the idea

Old school reference. Jingle. It morphed into jiggle for awhile. Sex sells. But now all I hear in my head are multiple jingles from old days of commercials. Youll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent. Im cukoo for cocoa puffs.
