    Re: NFL Week 8

The rookie is better anyways.....seems to play like Fencik and Plank did. We will see if he keeps it up. Plus he has way more range than Harris. We will see if he can stuff the middle when Urlacher runs backwards thinking he is a defensive back still. Notice when he is forced to play the middle. Not many get that rush going.....huh!

On another note the Bears signed another loser from St Louis' Practice Squad. LB! They need to get someone to replace Roach. Constant mistakes made by coaches. They were talking to Marinelli and he was like.....uh yeah we got some kids on this team with talent. People were like then why aren't you playing them? Martz wants another head coaching Job. After this season I say send him on his way. Fit right in with that West Coast Offense.

SAN DIEGO (AP)—San Diego Chargers Pro Bowl left guard Kris Dielman(notes) suffered a grand mal seizure on the flight home Sunday after sustaining a concussion in a loss to the New York Jets, a person with knowledge of the situation said Thursday.

The person, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team doesn’t release specific injury details, said an ambulance met the team plane and Dielman was hospitalized overnight. The person said the seizure occurred during the plane’s descent into San Diego.....snip~

At least they will get Gates back. They need him for sure.

Oh man don't get me started on this. It was such bull$#@!.

The guy got nailed in the head during the game and could barely walk up to the line of scrimmage. Looked like me after a long night of drinking. I mean you could tell the guy had a concussion just by looking at him. So the f'ing Chargers leave him in because they didn't have any backups on the roster (poor game planning). I hope the guy didn't do further damage to his brain and I expect the NFL will investigate. Really when I see crap like that it makes me not want to cheer for San Diego anymore. Their ineptitude is now putting guys' quality of life at risk. Not cool.

They should have had more OL on the active gameday list.

Anyhow, to give those of you fans hope, at this point in the season last year the Green Bay Packers were 3-3 and had lost to Miami and Washington. Now we all know they went on to win the Super Bowl and are undefeated this year. So there is hope that a similar change could happen for one of your teams! ;D

I saw that hit in a replay. At 140 lbs I could have possibly have been killed.

Exactly! Mistake 1 is leaving the guy in there when he's already f'd up. Mistake 2 is flying him in a pressurized cabin not to mention without medical care in an emergency. No wonder he had a seizure. Like I said I expect the hammer to come down as it should.

Yeah, they were talking about it on ESPN. I think they were talking about whether the NFL would take action. It was helmet on helmet, right?

    Re: NFL Week 8

Yep, but usually they only protect the little guys with that (QBs, RBs, receivers). The offensive and defensive linemen maul the crap out of each other all game and its allowed for the most part. In fact I think they hit helmets a lot because they are basically slamming into each other repeatedly after being separated by just a few feet initially. Part of the game...
