If you know anyone at the Lake Charles Airport in LA, they may need to take cover. A tornado on the way.

Sustained winds of 45 MPH with gusts up 65 MPH.

The national weather service is encouraging to stay off the roads here today.

I sit here in beautiful Ocal, FL where it is a full 30degress warmer than home. And it's a warm morning at home! An old guy could get used to this!

We avoid Washington area on the way down. Traffic was too unpredictable in the past, even though we lost 4-5 hours to traffic on I-95 in south Virginia and the Carolinas, sometimes traffic stopped for no obvious reason. I don't sup[pose the traffic is any better in DC these days?

It is better with the COVID. But yes, traffic on I-95 does come to halts often. Many times for no apparent reason.

It doesn't take much to mess up the pulse of traffic, especially with just two lanes. I've seen rubbernecking at an accident in the other lane do it.

I-95 is four lanes where many of the problems occur.

Of course there is daily backup where the lanes go from 4 to 2 further south.

We had a frost here in Ocala the other night. They had -17 at home. I don't think we'll go back just yet .
